Terms of Service

By creating an account or using the Iqbal & Yawer Associatestax filing portal (“the Service”), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service. These terms should be read together with our Privacy Policy.

We provide an online platform to prepare and submit income tax returns and related filings to the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR), with review by qualified tax consultants. Our services may include guided filing, NTN registration, and advisory support.

We act on the information and instructions you provide. We are not responsible for outcomes arising from incomplete, inaccurate, or late information supplied by you.

You agree to:

• provide accurate, complete, and up-to-date information;
• keep your login credentials confidential and secure;
• use the Service only for lawful purposes and your own tax affairs (or those you are authorised to manage);
• review your return and supporting details before submission.

You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you submit and for any tax liability, penalty, or surcharge arising from it.

You may update your profile or permanently delete your account at any time from your account settings. Deleting your account removes your login, profile, and draft returns. Filed returns and records that we are required to keep under the Income Tax Ordinance, 2001 may be retained for the legally mandated period.

Fees for filing and other services are communicated before you proceed. Our standard assisted salaried filing fee is a flat charge with no hidden costs; other services are quoted separately. Fees are non-refundable once work on your return has begun, except as required by law.

All content, branding, and software on this portal are owned by Iqbal & Yawer Associates or its licensors and are protected by applicable law. You may not copy, modify, or redistribute any part of the Service without our written permission.

To the extent permitted by law, Iqbal & Yawer Associates is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid for the relevant service. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under Pakistani law.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Pakistan.

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. The “Last updated” date above shows when they were last revised. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
